YOU can make that
difference in the life of a child.

Attorney General Jon Bruning
We have a wonderful
opportunity to positively impact this community.
Establishing a Boys & Girls Club in North Platte will give children a safe
place
to grow and realize their potential. If
you take one look at the alumni list,
youll see the Boys & Girls Club also helps develop todays children
into tomorrows leaders. Lets
seize this opportunity together.

Gathering the
finances we need to provide excellent support and programming is an ongoing effort. We
depend on contributions from a variety of sources including giving organizations, local
and federal governments, businesses, and private individuals. Contributions can be made
through donation of time, donation of equipment, or financial contributions. All financial
contributions will be tax-deductible as the Boys & Girls Club of Lincoln County is a
non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
It Just Takes ONE Campaign
It
takes about $400 a year per child to provide services for our school-year program and
any donation - however large or small - makes a significant difference in the life of a
local child. We're currently raising funds toward our second year's operating budget as
well as to help with our start-up costs and needs. If you are able to provide a meaningful
gift of time, resources, or funding, it will be greatly benefit the Club. Financial
donations may be sent to the Boys & Girls Club of Lincoln
County, P.O. Box 1048, North Platte, NE 69103. Gifts of resources or time can be easily
arranged by contacting a board member or staff at jacki@lincolncountybgc.com.

Capital Campaign (future)
Our Club's dream and vision
is to be able to reach out to all our community's youth - ages 5-19 - and provide that
pivotal program and adult influence in their lives that assists in molding them into
responsible and educated citizens in our community. To best facilitate this mission, the
Club needs a permanent home. A "home" with a place for our youth to recreate, to
join together, to develop character and leadership skills, to participate in top-notch,
nationally sponsored programming, and to discover themselves.
We, as a community, can
provide this for our youth. Separate funds are welcome towards this vision and our
preliminary goal is to raise $500K-$600K to purchase and prepare a structure just for our
youth - providing our community a Boys & Girls Club "home" for generations
to come.
Examples from
custom-built Boys & Girls Clubs from around the country. |
